Hampir setiap dari kita mempunyai akaun media sosial yang digunakan untuk pelbagai perkara seperti Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, aplikasi Whatsapp dan sebagainya. Bahkan ada yang menghabiskan hampir keseluruhan waktunya pada media sosial. Statistik menunjukkan, sehingga Jun 2017, sebanyak 19 juta daripada rakyat Malaysia mempunyai akaun Facebook.
Ini menunjukkan bahawa rakyat Malaysia antara pengguna yang aktif dalam penggunaan media sosial. Namun dalam keghairahan kita menggunakan laman sosial itu, ada adab-adab dan peraturan yang perlu kita patuhi sebagai seorang muslim yang beriman kepada Allah SWT.
